Mainframe Systems Programmer

We are looking for a senior-level individual with 5+ years in IBM Mainframe and z/OS Systems Programming experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in:

1. z/OS internals (JES2, SMS, HSM)
2. z/OS communications (TCP/IP and VTAM)
3. JCL and IBM Utilities (IEBGENER, etc.)
4. REXX scripting (Python is a plus)
5. VSAM, DB2, and sequential data formats
6. Programming languages such as Cobol and IBM Assembler (Java experience is a plus)

Experience in z/OS Operations activities, such as IPLs, Stand Alone Dump, and console operations, is also a plus.

The candidate needs to have experience mentoring and sharing technical knowledge, providing technical guidance and feedback to junior Systems Programmers. The candidate will deliver work for clients and will also lead a team of 8-10 entry-level Systems Programmers.
