Job Description
We are seeking a Senior React Frontend Developer to play a key role in the development of our new platform user interface and user experience. As a leading frontend developer on our hybrid team, you’ll work closely with product managers, product design, and full-stack development team members to deliver a seamless, responsive, and visually compelling UI. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record enhancing B2B SaaS product experiences, strong communication skills, and the ambition to grow leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead frontend development for our platform's UI/UX refresh using React, focusing on performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and development leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Coordinate with outsourced development teams, ensuring smooth handoffs and quality integration.
- Build reusable, scalable components and front-end libraries to ensure maintainability and clean architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in frontend development and the React ecosystem.
- Mentor and guide junior frontend developers as the team expands.
- Contribute to code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and best practices.
- Drive innovation in frontend technology and processes.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with some or all of the following React libraries desirable: Axios, Zod, Tailwind/Catalyst, NextJs.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Experience working in hybrid team models and agile scrum environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate with product, design, and backend development teams.
- Proficient with version control (Git, Mercurial), build tools, and continuous integration.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and frontend performance optimization techniques.
- Knowledge and understanding of web development security best practices (CSP, XSS, Logging practices, local storage).
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards.
- Experience working with or leading outsourced development teams is a plus.
- Desire to grow into a leadership role as the internal team expands.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, remote position with an annual base salary of $120-180K plus variable compensation.
