Seeking a CAD Designer for a high growth commercial HVAC client in the Fitchburg, MA area for a contract to hire opportunity! Candidates should come with at least 3 years of experience and a minimum of a Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent.
The CAD Designer would be responsible for designing cooling tower systems, piping systems, chilled water systems and other custom commercial HVAC systems. Experience with 2D CAD is required while a SolidWorks certification and BOM experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
Design models using SolidWorks or Vectorworks of cooling tower systems, chilled water systems, piping and HVAC systems from quote documents for use in manufacturing equipment.
Work with engineers and project managers to put together equipment and facility layout drawings per specifications.
Create plant layout drawings using 2D and 3D software
Generate equipment schedules and detailed BOMs from drawings, designs and specification documents.
Work with part libraries and updating models in the database.
