Java/J2EE Consultant (GC-USC)

Job Description

Preferred Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience in application design and development experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
2. Experience working with relational databases like DB2.
3. Experience in Development, Maintaining and unit testing of Web applications & Web services.
4. Experience using common Java frameworks and libraries.
5. Ability to collaborate with Client technical teams to understand functional requirements and the big picture to develop effective, flexible solutions.
6. Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
7. Strong analytical and communication skills.
8. Experience in Web services protocol like - REST or SOAP.
9. Experience in Responsive Web Design, Spring and Play Framework (optional).
10. Experience with Highcharts, AJAX (optional).
11. Experience working with IBM Rational Software architect (RSA)/Web Sphere or Tomcat server environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
2. At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.
