Job Summary:

As an Accessories Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, modification, testing, and inspection of aviation accessory components. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic systems and mechanical assemblies, ensuring all equipment is returned to operational status efficiently and effectively.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs, modifications, and tests in accordance with manufacturer instructions and established processes.
• Troubleshoot product failures and execute necessary maintenance to restore functionality.
• Operate electronic test equipment to perform diagnostics and testing.
• Utilize hand tools correctly for the maintenance of articles.
• Conduct soldering tasks in line with industry standards.
• Complete all required documentation of work performed and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with managers and co-workers to ensure smooth operations.
• Execute routine production assembly operations on CFM56 engine mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, using OEM manuals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with engine harness wire routing, wire dressing, harness repairs, and cannon plug repairs.
• Proficient in wire hook-ups, resistance, and continuity checks.
• Experience with functional testing of fuel nozzles.
• Skilled in testing and repairing ball screw actuators and VSV actuators.
• Ability to operate and utilize testing equipment effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted for approximately 25% of the workday.
• Regularly required to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
