Software Developer (C#)

A leading hedge fund based in New York City are seeking a software developer to join their team. The firm were founded more than 15 years ago and are best known for revolutionizing macro trading strategies. They were spun out of one of the most successful proprietary trading groups in history and are a industry household name.

They are seeking a software developer who is strong in C# to work across all business functions. This is a unique role where you will work across both front and back office teams and gain a deep understanding of hedge fund infrastructure and learn what it takes to run a successful multi-billion dollar firm.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Technologists, Traders, Operations and Accountants to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Analysis, design, and development of business-critical systems
• Design and implement effective user interfaces through collaboration and communication
• Be committed to innovation with a strong interest in learning and working with new technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2-7 of financial services experience at either a hedge fund, bank or FinTech
• Minimum technology exposure - OOP principals, Data Structures, SQL design / scripting, C#/.NET framework knowledge
• Python/VBA would be a bonus
