About the Role
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java or Python.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain search solutions using Elasticsearch.
- Work with Linux operating systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Proficiency in Elasticsearch for search and analytics.
- Strong coding skills in Java or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $105,000 – $115,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
