This position is with the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations Air Vehicle Design, Release and Labs (AVDR&L) team. The AVDR&L team develops software solutions that are used by our engineering design teams to simplify the design process. This position is for an experienced 3DX and CATIA V5 Senior Software Engineer to develop Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) capabilities that are used by the engineering structural and systems design teams.
The successful candidate will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. They will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, and defect resolution for their assigned software projects.
The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective pro-active communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational interactions.

- Familiarity with PLM systems (3DExperience, ENOVIA, Teamcenter, etc.) including development of customizations in CAA or EKL
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools (Ansible Core / Tower, YAML, Cloud services and automations, Test Driven Development, Automated Testing)
- Familiarity with Harness Design tools (Capital Harness, etc.) including development of customizations
- Familiarity with other scripting languages (JavaScript, Perl, Python, C#, VBScript, PowerShell, Unix Shell, Windows Host)
- Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX)
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Other Important Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
