Java/Microservices Developer

As a member of the Global Treasury Management (GTM) **ables Services team, you will be modernizing the current SinglePoint portal and developing new solutions for corporate customers. This agile team is virtual and a mix of FTEs, onshore and offshore contractors.
This role will:
Design, build, and maintain features end-to-end in the SinglePoint application working with agile teams to execute on new features with stability, scalability, testability, security, and performance in mind. Define and provide governance on the **ments Room architecture through code reviews and controlled merges; ensure code quality standards and best practices are upheld. Review tasks critically and ensures appropriate prioritization and sizing for incremental delivery. Anticipate and communicate blockers and potential delays before they require escalation. Tech stack in use: o Microservices: Java, J2EE, Spring, SpringBoot, RESTful web services, Kafka, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Karate o Micro front-end: ReactJS, SASS, Webpack (Module Federation), common (Shield) libraries. o Databases: Cassandra, DB2 o Development tools: JIRA, IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio code), Zephyr o Testing/automation framework: Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright o Deployment tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, ServiceNow o Streaming: Kafka o Monitoring: Splunk, Kibana
Required Skills:
Extensive experience in Java 8, Spring boot, micro services architecture, Knowledge of REST API design and specifications Micro services patterns like gateway, discovery, config and sidecar services. Spring integration with Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ Deployment tools using Docker, Kubernetes and overall DevOps Experience in RDBMS like DB2, Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cassandra CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Blackduck. GIT version control and merge management Experience with **ments domain domestic and/or international
