CNC Mill Operator/Machinist
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Olathe, KS within the aerospace industry.
CNC Mill Operator Job Summary:
• $25/hr - $37/hr including shift differential
• 6 pm - 6:30 am or 6 am -6:30 pm, either Thu - Sat or Sun - Tues, both with alternating Weds
• Loading parts, operating controls, machining parts and inspecting parts
• Follow sequence of operations and set up requirements - under supervision
• Read the basic dimensions and tolerances of a blueprint
• Check and monitor parts that are being run
• Participate in and sustain Ultra C-Lean objectives
CNC Mill Operator Qualifications:
• HS diploma or GED
• Understanding in blueprint reading and GD&T preferred
• Ability to read G Code preferred
• One year milling machine experience strongly preferred
• Experience using measurement tools (e.g., caliper, micrometer, height gage, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts and other accessories
