What We're Looking For
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and deliver infrastructure projects for the business.
- Automate repetitive tasks where possible, including, but not limited to existing procedures, system configuration, and overall deployments.
- Manage and support critical infrastructure services.
- Continuous analysis and improvement of both performance, scalability and vulnerability.
- Help develop and improve disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Maintain and improve systems documentation.
- Act as 3rd and 4th level escalation point for resolving production issues.
- Must be able to accommodate weekend or on-call schedules as necessary.
- Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new trends.
Qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate with resources across multiple disciplines including operations, engineering, networking, development, and security.
- Strong Windows Server skills including installation, configuration, security, and domain management with an emphasis on security.
- Must be able to create work instructions, best practice documentation, and scripts which can be followed by others.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work well in and contribute to a team environment.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Deep knowledge of network principles, such as: protocols, technologies, routing, firewalls, load balancing.
- Prior financial services experience or experience working in a highly regulated environment.
- 3+ years of experience engineering and supporting the following:
- Windows Server Operating systems and current standards.
- Office365 / Entra / SSO / Enterprise Azure Apps.
- Active Directory and Group Policy / Sites and Services / DNS.
- Microsoft PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- Advanced Cloud systems, AWS preferred but not required.
- Certificates relating to data encryption, VPN or similar.
- Linux OS.
- Experience with the following technologies is a plus:
- Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar infrastructure as code tools.
- Chef, Puppet, DSC or similar configuration management tools.
- Netskope, zScaler, or similar CASB.
- Git.
- Kubernetes, Docker, or similar container solutions.
- Monitoring systems and toolsets (Solarwinds, New Relic, Datadog, or similar).
- ServiceNow or Jira.
- VMware vSphere (7.0+).
Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00
