Senior AI Sensor Processing Software Engineer, Holoscan

We are looking for a Sr. Senior AI Sensor Processing SW Engineer to help us further develop innovative solutions on top of NVIDIA Holoscan platform. The ideal candidate will have a thorough experience of developing innovative solutions in sensor processing and AI, delivering product-quality software, with a provable track record of open-source software contributions.

Academic and commercial groups around the world are powering a revolution in artificial intelligence (AI), using deep learning algorithms running on NVIDIA GPUs, enabling breakthroughs in solving a wide range of complex sensor processing problems in various domains, building on top of NVIDIA Holoscan platform.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Develop innovative solutions on top of NVIDIA Holoscan platform software on HoloHub.
2. Lead design and development efforts in teamwork with internal teams at NVIDIA, our partners, and the open-source community.
3. As part of a team, develop software solutions to lower the barrier of entry for Holoscan platform for industry and academic partners.
4. Support engineering processes, including refining requirements, engineering design of software architecture, data structures and algorithms, implementation, technical design review, developer testing, verification and validation and post launch support.

What we need to see:

1. Graduate degree in Computer Science, Software, or a related degree (or equivalent experience) with proven record of delivering products.
2. 8+ years of related experience.
3. Phenomenal teammate with excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
5. Excellent programming skills in C++ and Python.
6. Deep understanding of software development standard methodologies (e.g., unit testing, CI/CD, design review and code review as priority, code coherence across the team, simplicity, readability and refactoring).
7. Background with modular software development and software containerization.
8. Hands-on experience with NVIDIA’s software libraries and SDKs.
9. A depth of knowledge of CUDA and GPGPU programming.
10. Experience with Linux operating systems.
11. Proven track record of product development in one or more of the Holoscan platform target domains.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

1. Background with streaming and real-time inference applications.
2. Background in sensor processing with high-performance computing requirements (high-throughput, low-latency, etc.).
3. Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., Tensorflow and Pytorch).

The base salary range is $176,000 - $333,500. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
