As a Senior AXIOM Developer at our international investment bank based in Midtown, New York City, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our regulatory reporting infrastructure. AXIOM is integral to our operations, facilitating accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities. You will join a team of dedicated professionals focused on leveraging technology to meet regulatory requirements efficiently while ensuring data integrity and reliability. Responsibilities:
- Analyze the existing environment and report on logic and workflows.
- Develop AXIOM related workflows, implement logic, and shortcuts to streamline processes.
- Participate in positive and regression testing to ensure robust implementation.
- Analyze and research anomalies in Regulatory Report results, adjusting based on feedback from Business Analysts.
- Actively participate in project meetings, contributing to discussions and decisions.
- Ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables according to project timelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Developer with a focus on AXIOM within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in AXIOM Controller View and related technologies.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Knowledge of other financial regulatory reporting platforms and tools.
