Context:

As a Senior AXIOM Developer at our international investment bank based in Midtown, New York City, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our regulatory reporting infrastructure. AXIOM is integral to our operations, facilitating accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities. You will join a team of dedicated professionals focused on leveraging technology to meet regulatory requirements efficiently while ensuring data integrity and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of financial technology in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze the existing environment and report on logic and workflows.

- Develop AXIOM related workflows, implement logic, and shortcuts to streamline processes.

- Participate in positive and regression testing to ensure robust implementation.

- Analyze and research anomalies in Regulatory Report results, adjusting based on feedback from Business Analysts.

- Actively participate in project meetings, contributing to discussions and decisions.

- Ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables according to project timelines.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Senior Developer with a focus on AXIOM within the financial services industry.

- Strong understanding of financial regulatory reporting requirements.

- Proficiency in AXIOM Controller View and related technologies.

- Ability to analyze complex problems and propose innovative solutions.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a relevant field.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

- Knowledge of other financial regulatory reporting platforms and tools.
