RF Spectrum Engineer

USA - Full Time Position - Remote

Axiom is seeking an RF Spectrum Engineer responsible for tracking, assessing, and reporting any RF spectrum regulatory actions related to Federal agencies (NOAA, DoD, DoC, NASA).

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing subject matter expertise to DOC/NOAA across various RF spectrum related topics and working groups.
2. Participating and establishing technical rules and procedures for spectrum sharing & spectrum coordination with federal agencies and international administrations.
3. Assisting regulatory and policy team in evaluating and conducting analysis on new rulemaking procedures and submissions.
4. Conducting Matlab analysis pertaining to ITU WRC agenda items.
5. Establishing technical parameters and standards governing the use of each frequency band or specific service, if applicable.

Job Requirements

1. Demonstrated ability to perform complex engineering analysis.
2. Ability to use RF engineering tools (e.g., Visualyse) and MATLAB.
3. Possess excellent written & communications skills in English.
4. Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in satellite & cellular telecommunications industry.
6. 1+ years of experience in RF spectrum management engineering.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 1-2 years of direct engineering experience.
