Mainframe Developer

Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a Mainframe Developer, who is responsible for supporting the mainframe accounting system for the asset management group

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field is a plus
• 2+ years of experience
• Mainframe development experience with COBOL (batch and online)
• Experience with JCL
• Technology background required
• Banking background is a plus
• Mainframe Sas/report writing experience is a plus
• Experience with Agile/DevOps is a plus
• Experience with DB2 MQ series, Endevor, ServiceNow, and File-AID is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design and code new development and application maintenance
• Design and execute tests to achieve the stated expected outcome in partnership with the Quality Engineer and business resource
• Deploy solutions in adherence to Change Management guidelines
• Participate in all Agile Ceremonies
• Be available for the Bi-Monthly 24/7 On Call Support Rotation and adhere to Application Service Level Agreements
• Be Customer Focus and Risk Aware – immediately raise any questions or concerns
