We are seeking an aviation engineer to design and collaborate on a variety of exciting aviation projects on a national and regional level who is interested in contributing to and thriving in a positive, mutually supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide management, engineering and design for projects relating to new airport runway/taxiway design, existing paving improvements and expansions, airfield lighting and fencing.
- Experience designing and/or management of the design of drainage structures associated with the airfield such as culverts, storm drains, environmental, and detention systems.
- Preparation of airport design plans including plan and profiles, grading and drainage, markings, NAVAIDS, lighting, and related design elements that are typical of an airport construction project under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
- Provide estimates for engineering fee budgets and schedules to meet project requirements.
- Experience with federal agencies and federal regulation processes such as preparation of FAA 7460-1 applications, 49 CFR Par 77 analyses, and familiarity with planning criteria in FAA Advisory Circulars.
- Ability to perform the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
- Performance at this level requires a developmental mindset to learn new technologies including but not limited to AutoCad, Civil3D, Bluebeam, and Newforma.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, subconsultants, engineers & design/drafting technical staff.

Qualifications:
-
10+ Years experience in commercial aviation civil engineering design
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- PE License preferred.
- Aviplan, AutoCAD and Civil3D experience and/or working knowledge of design software preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work on a team who is responsive and results oriented.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
