Moore Media provides media buying and analytics services to leading nonprofit organizations with a focus on recruiting monthly donors via television advertising. The Junior Software Developer helps maintain Moore Media’s proprietary SQL database of media airings, response data, and attribution results.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create tables and all other DB objects
- Load data from flat files to tables
- Resolve errors that arise out of bad data
- Debug, test, and deploy software updates
- Assist with developing various backend application programs such as views, functions, procedures, packages using SQL and .NET
- Create/Update basic web design for internal purposes
- Help update and maintain system documentation
- Assist with troubleshooting issues, identifying root cause, and recommending resolutions
- Collaborate and communicate with media operations and account teams to deliver data and reporting needed to optimize client programs
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL required
- Knowledge of .NET required
- Experience with APIs preferred
- Superior problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort managing multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and meeting all deliverables with a high level of accuracy.
- Desire to support the missions and fundraising efforts of nonprofit organizations through television advertising. Nonprofit or fundraising experience a plus.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships and achieve results by working collaboratively with others.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from accredited college or university. Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- The Junior Software Developer position requires indoor work in an office setting, exposed to moderate noise levels.
- This position may require occasional travel to conferences and meetings throughout the United States, up to 5% of time.
- While performing the responsibilities of the position, the employee is required to talk and hear.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
- The employee will spend significant periods of time entering data via a computer keyboard.
- Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, carry paperwork, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
