UX Designer

Are you an experienced UX Designer with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced UX Designer to work at their company in Redmond, WA.

Position Summary: The supplier will provide a Systems Designer (Windows) resource to help to help support and shape Outlook Design Systems and Windows toolkits that are used by designers across the organization, under these guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Demonstrate the ability to execute design work with a high standard of quality within time and technical constraints, amid competing priorities and sometimes ambiguous situations.
• Will work directly with mobile design systems lead and partners to meet objectives and deliver results.
• Plan, curate, and contribute to a large-scale design system and toolkit consisting of components and visual assets.
• Create visual solutions that harmonize functional design with emotional design, and reflect usability, accessibility, brand, graphic design, and human-centered principles.
• Define or extend visual design systems to create a holistic and detailed approach to typography, color, patterns, layouts, imagery, icons and more.
• Translate conceptual component level ideas into high-fidelity user-friendly templates.
• Develop style guidelines, specs, patterns, or other deliverables to document the essential elements of a design solution for development or future use.
• Become an expert in client's brand principles, guidelines, and Fluent product design language, and then evangelize our perspective to stakeholders.
• Aid in evangelization of the toolkit, helping other designers use it correctly both in terms of design, and technical know-how in Figma libraries and other sharing methods.

Qualifications:

• Key projects: This role will contribute to Creating toolkits, which include smaller sub-components like buttons and cards, and assembling them into larger units or templates for use.
• Candidate Requirements. Translating conceptual component-level ideas into high-fidelity, user-friendly templates, and writing documentation on specific design components.
• Years of Experience Required: 2-4overall years of experience in the field.
• Best vs. Average: Detail-oriented, especially in writing documentation, Good communication skills, particularly in working with other designers, developers, and project managers, ability to explain the use of components and provide guidance on their application.
• Minimum 3+ years experience with Writing.
• Minimum 3+ years experience with Solid understanding of design system
• Minimum 1+ years experience with Expert level in Figma
