Lead Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer

This company offers high-quality precision machined components and is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer with supervisory experience to support their engineering team. Position Overview:

We are looking for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programmer with a strong machining background. You write and optimize new CNC programs in addition to designing custom fixtures and tools. You will also supervise a team of CNC programmers. On an ongoing basis, you will troubleshoot production issues and contribute to process improvements in the plant.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and optimize CNC programs for complex parts in MasterCam.
  • Design fixtures, gages, and cutting tools.
  • Manage document control for tooling and programs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to tooling and fixtures.
  • Write and optimize CNC programs for complex parts.
  • Lead the setup and compliance for tooling and machining processes.
  • Monitor production quality and make machine adjustments as needed.


Candidate Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of CNC programming and setup experience.
  • Supervisor experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Mastercam and AutoDesk Inventor software programs.
  • Strong understanding of G and M codes and blueprint reading.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Experience with Brother VMCs is a plus.
