Machine Learning/Software/Test Engineer 2

Role and Responsibilities

• Supports Computer and/or Sub-Component Level Assembly and Disassembly through computer test process implementation.
• Designs, sets up, maintains and configures servers and network infrastructure as well as databases required to support OS imaging / Test processes for computer devices.
• Directs testing and supporting test operators on machine learning systems or test related issues.
• Develops and implements machine learning and computer testing software and introduction process, time integrated planning, and conduct Functional testing.
• Supports existing machine learning & computer function testing software systems; including evaluating & improving legacy applications.
• Monitors and maintains infrastructure supporting machine learning/test, such as network, troubleshooting for hardware and software issues to ensure efficient and problem free operations.
• Participates in new product introduction readiness, such as test validation, new test line build, test process specification/walkthrough and training.
• Analyzes, identifies, documents, and communicates first pass test yield data, machine learning systems or test related issues to internal or external customers.
• Translates concepts and information for trainers, techs, and operators in support of personnel development and processes improvements.
• Performs other duties such as data entry, report management and working with cross-functional teams on accomplishing organizational objectives.
• Supports staffing needs and provides vision and inspiration to peers and assigned personnel.
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May perform other duties as assigned
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field; M.S. preferred
• 3 years or more of relevant machine learning, software development & testing experience
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
• Experience in .Net, Python (or related ML language), SQL & batch scripting.
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC & experience in object-oriented programming.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Understanding engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficient with MS office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Experience with Power Bi/Tableau preferred
• Proven experience in successful problem solving, demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with little or no supervision
