Who we are looking for:
Cornerstone Capital Bank is looking for a a skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our team in the marketing division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating responsive and engaging web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with WordPress and/or Umbraco CMS, as well as proficiency in PHP or C# for customizing these platforms, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive, user-friendly websites.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement and improve web content and user experiences.
- Customize and extend WordPress (PHP) or Umbraco (C#) CMS for various projects, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across multiple browsers and devices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies to enhance web development practices.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor Degree in relatable field preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant front-end web development experience
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery)
- Familiarity with WordPress and/or Umbraco CMS
- Knowledge of PHP (for WordPress) or C# (for Umbraco) is a plus
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) required
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and web accessibility standards required
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON preferred
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
