Title:Sr. Digital EngineerKBR is seeking a Systems Engineer to support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts for government programs in Chantilly, Va.Responsibilities:Develop descriptive mission and system modelsIntegrate MBSE tools to support trade studies using COTS APIs and developing custom integrationsAnalysis of alternatives evaluations of mission and system modelsTracking of mission measures of effectiveness and system technical performance measuresTrace related analysis models and results to enterprise tools, requests for change, engineering review board, concept of operations and architecture development, risks, schedule, and verification, validation, & testRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math, computer science, or other technical disciplineSystems Engineering experience with Model-Based Engineering applications and technologyIntermediate knowledge and experience with System Modeling Language (SysML)Object-Oriented Design and Analysis experience either in system model development or programming languageRequires an understanding of systems engineering and of model-based methodologiesExperience with Cameo, SparxEA, or Rhapsody tool suitesDesired Qualifications:Java, JavaScript, or Python programming experienceKnowledge of engineering analysis and analytical simulation tools such as ModelCenter, Systems Toolkit (STK), Mathematica, Modelica, SciPy, or SciKit-LearnKnowledge of multi-domain analysis and optimization techniques and toolKnowledge of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)Experience with the development of executable systems models (OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional certification or demonstrated commensurate level of knowledge)Experience working in an Agile development environmentFamiliarity with DoD and/or ICSecurity clearance: Active TS is requiredINCLUSION AND DIVERSITY AT KBRA t KBR, we are passionate about our people, sustainability, and our Zero Harm culture.These inform all that we do and are at the heart of our commitment to, and ongoing journey toward being a more inclusive and diverse company.
