As a Lab Technician for Dorman you will performs product testing for new product development and quality investigations. Testing includes, but is not limited to: hydrostatic, thermal, tensile, and electronics tests. This role is onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.Primary DutiesPerform internal product performance testing in laboratory and create documentationRecord data from testing in standard formats and provide results to product and engineering teamsPerform Dimensional Analysis using hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)Maintain Lean/5S environmentAbility to problem solveOther duties as assignedQualificationsFamiliar with vehicle systems; including body, and electronics, preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Physical Requirement : Capability to lift 40 pounds.Working Conditions : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen.
