Generative AI Engineer

Our client in the Atlanta area is seeking a Project Manager with a focus on Big Data AI initiatives developing action plans and deliverables. Contract position likely to extend. Hybrid 2-3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and application of new technologies focused on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Lead cross-functional initiatives by developing action plans, establishing milestones, and providing timely status updates.
• Manage and communicate timelines and deliverables to execute strategic initiatives effectively.
• Define and manage key metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify and leverage expertise, technological investments, and AI techniques to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Design and develop custom RAG pipelines for GenAI solutions, specifically in writing code and identifying techniques to address problems.
• Participate in daily touchpoint and design calls; collaborate with technical leads and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Research and develop innovative AI/ML and GenAI solutions for unique business problems.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficient in manipulating and analyzing data from multiple sources (cloud and on-prem), at various scales (big data and small data), and in diverse formats.
• Expertise in coding with languages such as Python and Java.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML models, frameworks (e.g., Keras, PyTorch), and libraries/APIs (e.g., Scikit-learn). Working on solutioning, not model engineering.
