MK Services in Middleton, MA is adding a CNC Swiss Programmer to our growing team!
CNC Star Swiss Programmer will be responsible for programming, and setting up CNC Swiss Department. Ensures the production of high-precision components for aerospace and defense applications, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Programming and Setup:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for Swiss-style lathes using Part Maker.
- Set up machines, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling.
- Adjust machine settings to meet specific job requirements.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to machine performance or product quality.
- Maintain detailed records of production and quality metrics.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine manufacturing processes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC technology and machining techniques.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for CNC programs, machine setups, and production runs.
- Generate reports on production performance, including output, quality, and downtime.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree in CNC programming, machining, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining, with a focus on Swiss-style lathes.
- Proficiency in CNC programming software and CAD/CAM systems. Preferably Part Maker.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
