The Development Services and Experiences (DevX) team at Intuit builds foundational capabilities that developers across Intuit use for building and running Intuit’s flagship applications in a cloud-native, highly scalable, and secure manner. Ease of use, high scale, quality, and reliability are some of the key attributes of this organization’s platforms. Intuit actively participates in many open-source communities, including Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and GraphQL.

We are looking for candidates who have product management experience in building platforms at scale and a deep technical understanding of those platforms balanced with customer empathy, strong execution capability, and a track record of building strong business partnerships and delivering impactful business results. As a product manager in this group, you will have the opportunity to solve business-critical problems via leading-edge products, participate in the open-source community, and lead innovation within and outside of Intuit. You will work with other product managers on Intuit SaaS platform product strategy with a particular emphasis on our cloud, reliability, and observability efforts. You’ll also help drive Intuit’s contributions to open-source projects in these areas to form partnerships with industry peers and partners to raise Intuit’s profile in the cloud-native community.

What you'll bring

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of product management experience delivering world-class platform products that solve big customer needs, specifically in large-scale distributed systems and platforms.
  • Expert and hands-on knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, compliance, security, and reliability best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers, orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools.
Product Management Skills
  • Drive roadmap strategy for cloud operations and developer platform products.
  • Understand customer and user needs through research, data analysis, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Define pricing models, service quotas, APIs, and integration points.
  • Create business cases and cost/benefit analysis for new features and services.
  • Monitor adoption, usage, costs, and performance metrics and optimize accordingly.
  • Manage relationships with engineering, sales, support, and other teams.
Leadership Skills
  • Evangelize best practices for cloud usage, operations, and development with developers and business leaders.
  • Develop guides, resources, and training programs to increase cloud adoption.
  • Champion scalable, secure, and operationally excellent infrastructure products.
  • Identify process improvements for provisioning, deployment, and daily management.
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, and launch plans across the organization.
  • Has a good understanding of defining and building user experiences and can work with designers.
  • Has worked in an Agile development setting and can drive backlog grooming and prioritization.
  • Proven experience in defining the product vision and inspiring teams to deliver innovations and impactful products.
  • Ability to take end-to-end responsibility for the product’s success.
  • Ability to work closely with customers and partners listening and taking a customer-focused approach to defining strategy and setting priorities demonstrating a passion for the customer.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills - leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations in small teams, and larger group presentation formats.
How you will lead
  • Define and lead the vision and strategy for the end-to-end multi-cloud products, providing product thought leadership in identifying critical customer requirements, understanding business goals, and defining product roadmaps and OKRs.
  • Work closely with product managers and development teams across Intuit to identify and address gaps in raising Intuit’s operational excellence through products to achieve >4 9s availability and world-class performance.
  • Effectively manage dependencies, priorities, and plans across different groups at Intuit towards consistent product delivery aligned towards common goals.
  • Take a data-driven approach in prioritizing requirements, creating and communicating plans and roadmaps, defining success metrics to deliver impactful business results.
  • Demonstrate customer obsession by being a champion for the user experience with deep customer empathy.
  • Evangelize and create broad awareness for the reliability and observability ecosystem with technical talks at both internal and external forums and customer events.
  • Serve as a product evangelist for observability products both internally and externally by speaking at conferences, meetups, and community meetings in the cloud-native space.
  • Be part of the extended product management team to contribute across Intuit platforms.
  • Extensive experience in containers, serverless, development platforms & supporting SaaS application architectures.
  • Extensive experience in Public Cloud Service (AWS/GCP/Azure). Knowledge on policy enforcement or security best practices will be an added advantage.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to envision the product roadmap with cross-team collaboration.
  • Should be able to learn and leverage AI and improve the user experience & data analytics.
  • Lead the roadmap and delivery of cloud service provider integration through the process of gathering requirements, designing, and engineering new products in cloud platform enablement.
  • Drive product strategy and partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on the next phase of cloud engineering services.
  • Understanding the user needs, be responsible for the development of current and future products that are required in cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify and measure the appropriate KPIs to measure success in delivering the product.
  • Work closely with architects and engineers to design secure and scalable solutions while ensuring a frictionless user experience.
  • Product Knowledge on load testing tools with the ability to compare the products in the market.
