Position Overview

As a Senior Application Developer/Business Process Administrator, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for maintaining and performing continual service improvements on the following implemented modules: (ITSM, HRSD, WSD, SPM). You will also be responsible for transitioning other applications such as SharePoint to ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing information management and workflow solutions in the ServiceNow platform.
• Participate in the collection of requirements, the analysis of workflows, and recommend/execute solutions in close cooperation with stakeholders, leaders, and other Knowledge Management teammates.
• Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document developed products and manage change. Perform operational administrative tasks, assist with report creation and dashboard configuration and maintenance.
• Utilize excellent teamwork, customer service, and technical skills to optimize business processes for effective mission delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of in-depth knowledge of implementing ServiceNow Architecture and ServiceNow Scripting.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development. Preferred modules: ITSM, HRSD, WSD, SPM.
• 5+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• 10 years troubleshooting production problems related to software applications.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with equivalent experience in one or more of the following: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Able to communicate clearly, translating technical jargon into layman’s terms for explanatory purposes.
• Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to think creatively.
• Able to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
• Professional and team-focused attitude.
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance adjudicated within the past 6 years OR TS with SCI eligibility. Candidate must be open to a counter-intelligence polygraph.
• Position is hybrid - MUST live within driving distance to client site in Chantilly, VA.
