The Role:
Our site in Bedford is seeking a/an Materials Quality Engineering Co-Op- Mechanical Fabrication to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
In this role, you will:
* Use statistical analysis to review data sets, look for correlations, and visualize trends
* Identify alternate sources that improve upon the trends of incoming parts
* Identify gaps in internal measurement and documentation processes to ensure proactive alert against downstream internal or external customer impacts(Replace this with your entry; please use bullets)
You're a good fit if you have:
* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
*Background in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication or related Field
* Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
* Familiarity with CAD or Solidworks, comfortable reading part drawings
* Communicate effectively with team members
* Use problem-solving techniques to develop action plans
* Self Starter
* Competent in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
* Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (minimum of Sophomore year)
