Senior Microsoft Solutions Engineer

Join a dynamic, innovative team as a Senior Microsoft Solutions Engineer. Leidos is seeking experts in operating systems and server hardware to support the Defense Enclave Services (DES) team at Ft. Meade, MD.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead data collection efforts for migration planning
• Design and implement storage and data protection technologies
• Forecast and optimize backend infrastructure
• Define migration plans for applications and services
• Forecast long-term capacity and performance requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or equivalent experience
• Expertise in enterprise-class storage and data protection technologies
• DoD IAT Level II (Security+) certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Consulting firm experience
• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cyber, and data center facilities
• Cloud Migration
• Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Operating system rollout experience
