Full Stack Engineer (Node/React)
Location: Greenwood Village, CO (4 days onsite/1day remote)
Contract Duration: 3-6-month contract to hire
Overview: Our client is looking to bring on a Fullstack Engineer (Node/React) to support their Networking and Management Application. This application tracks all of their networking equipment and is utilized by the Field Services technicians. This application will eventually be launched as a mobile-android app using React Native.
Skill Set
- 5+ years of experience as a full stack Software Engineer
- Strong experience working with React.js and Node.js
- Experience coding, testing and designing software
- Experience coding in React Native is a plus
- Database management experience with MongoDB
- Any experience with React Native for mobile development would be a nice to have
Responsibilities
- Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Design and implement new functionality that is testable and performant with limited oversight and guidance following best practices and approved code patterns.
- Operate within the various elements of applicable technical systems and the impacts of their work on the organization’s outcomes.
- Understand and apply different SDLC processes, particularly Agile and Scrum; participates fully in Scrum rituals.
- Understand and apply applicable technology security and industry regulatory and legal compliance considerations.
- Identify fixes to defects raised.
- Identify system integration issues.
- Lead code review, debugging, and testing of software applications.
- Provide an LOE on a project / feature level.
- Develop software independently and write testable and performant code.
- Develop technical requirements and technical design documents.
- Support major deployments and resolve critical deployment issues.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and solve technical problems.
- Respond to customer inquiries around the behavior of the developed software.
Team overview: The team currently has about 8 software engineers
Interview Process: One 30-minute interview with the hiring manager and a second panel interview with a few engineers on the team.
