ABOUT THE ROLE

Contribute to reach maximum availability/reliability of the electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment and installations in the plant by performing the appropriate corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance actions at the lowest optimum cost and in compliance with the H&S regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Guarantee compliance with OHS and environment policies for electrical maintenance personnel.
• Establish safety culture and tackle specific actions to ensure health and safety prevention during maintenance activities.
• Contribute to plant housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Internal controls providing reasonable assurance of effective and efficient operations, including actions to prevent and detect fraud and protect Company.
• Plan and direct the work of the electrical supervisor, automation, and systems engineers.
• Determine and schedule the necessary actions of corrective and preventive electrical, instrumentation, and automation maintenance in coordination with Mechanical and Preventive Maintenance Head and Supervisors.
• Ensure electrical maintenance team full-time readiness to efficiently tackle emergencies or urgent breakdowns.
• Plan Quarterly and Annual electrical maintenance plans according to preventive maintenance plans or scheduled corrective maintenance actions.
• Ensure Weekly and monthly outage plans are implemented by the electrical supervisor, automation and systems engineers.
• Manage the execution of work order activities, failure data gathering, time confirmation, and material withdrawal by electrical supervisor, automation, and systems engineers.
• Manage execution of maintenance activities by third parties.
• Cooperate with Production and Process departments in the execution of complex maintenance actions.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in the elaboration and control of the maintenance budget, ensuring planning and follow-up of costs.
• Communicate and implement regulations, company goals, local permits, policies, and procedures; optimize the internal processes and structures.
• Supervise personnel to apply them consistently and ensure ISO compliance for related activities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required Education: Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree
Field of Study Preferred: Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Instrumental Engineering

Required Work Experience: Experience in heavy industry preferred. Experience applying FMEA techniques and knowledge of basic problem-solving tools.

Required Computer and Software Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.), PLC, Preferred Siemens and Allen Bradley. Other Systems Experience Analyzers: Tektron, Durag Siemens, Siemens Medium and Low Voltage Variable Frequency Drives.

Travel Requirements: 10%
