The Product Development and Creative team is seeking a talented and experienced
Production Designer to support the development of comprehensive global consumer
products style guides. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production
design, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through visual elements. This
position is L.A. based and would be expected to work on-site (Tue-Thur) at the
office in Hollywood with the larger team.
Responsibilities:
? Primarily responsible for finalizing consumer style guides and design assets prior to
external distribution.
? Designing visually compelling style guide layouts for our assets under the direction
and strategy of the Creative lead, and responsible for coming up with appropriate
design guidelines to support the assets/design programs within the guide (color
palettes, typography, etc)
? Review, prep, and organize any and all design assets and deliverables with the
appropriate specs so they are ready to be partner-facing. You will be expected to use
judgment to revise creative assets as necessary.
? Manage style guide asset distribution and upload to our internal asset library resource
? Support Manager in research and gathering visual references to support the creative
vision for each guide.
? Opportunity to create one-off design assets based on established design programs on
a need-be basis at the Manager’s discretion.
Qualifications:
? 3+ years of general graphic design/visual communication/production design
experience within an agency/studio/entertainment marketing environment.
? Experience in style guide/branding guide layout design and a clear understanding of
design guidelines.
? An obsessive and keen eye for detail.
? Experience in designing for consumer goods/retail merchandise is a plus.
? Highly proficient/expert-level experience with Adobe CC applications (Photoshop,
Illustrator, and InDesign)
? Expertise in designing presentations on platforms such as Google Slides as needed.
? Must have experience in a fast-paced environment with compressed timelines, often
jumping between multiple properties at once. Must be able to execute graphically with
minimal creative direction at times.
