Software Engineer, Full Stack - ML Platform

Position Summary

Adept is building a new class of multimodal AI models designed specifically for digital agents. ML Platform engages directly with Adept research teams, equipping them with a software toolkit that helps them iterate quickly:

1. Helping researchers collect, understand, and share results
2. Quantifying model behavior during training and deployment
3. Organizing and distributing models and other research artifacts
4. Moving models through their full development lifecycle
5. Supporting ad-hoc exploration as new research questions emerge

We Value Curious Engineers Who Can Engage With New Problems And Get Things Done At a Startup. Our Team Members Come From a Variety Of Backgrounds. If You Have Some Of These Attributes, You Might Be a Good Fit:

1. 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
2. Expertise building scalable web applications
3. Knowledge of both frontend and backend development
4. Experience building and serving machine learning models
5. Track record at fast-growing companies or startups
6. Demonstrated end-to-end ownership and self-direction
7. Comfort with moving fast and learning by doing
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written

The pay range for this position in California is $175,000 - $350,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience. We also offer competitive equity packages in the form of stock options and a comprehensive benefits plan.
