Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CCNA MCSE System Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and system administration, ensuring optimal performance and security of our systems. This role requires a proactive problem solver who can collaborate effectively with various teams to support our growing technical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and server systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and related Windows Server services.
• Monitor network performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Ensure system security through regular updates, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on systems and network issues.
• Document network configurations, system changes, and support processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and projects.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications:
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in system engineering, network administration, or related field.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.

Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
