System Engineer

Our client, a leading asset management firm specializing in global macro investing, is hiring! They are a very prestigious ~25B AUM fund that has a very good reputation in their space having been around for years. They are seeking a full time System Engineer to join their Infrastructure group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of operational tasks for a 400+ Microsoft Windows server environment
• Troubleshooting server performance, security permissions, and server hardware
• Building and managing server instances both virtual and hardware
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience, which includes managing Windows Servers in a production server environment
• 4+ years scripting or PowerShell knowledge
• 4+ years VMware vSphere knowledge, VCP preferred
• 2+ years AWS/Azure knowledge
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
• In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies and server hardware (HP/Dell/Cisco)
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, DNS, GPO Management
