Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Sterling Aviation, our Herndon site is looking for a new Air Logistics Aerospace Customer Care Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.
Your Role
As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be the face of our company to the customers you speak with. You will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty by ensuring service excellence through proactive customer service, problem solving, customer follow up, and interaction with our sales colleagues. You will be on first shift in this position, reporting to the Herndon office.
Your Responsibilities
Take job orders from clients, (including but, not limited to routing shipments, classifying of service type, establishing a deadline and printing the job order)
Provide clients with notification and follow-up (including flight and customs delays, proof-of-delivery, charges, problem resolution,)
Includes understanding the clients' internal requirements and nuances to better service their needs
Report to Air Logistics Aerospace Customer Care Manager
Flexibility Required. Must work one weekend day and some holidays as required. Training takes place during morning shifts, but this role will be for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am) .
Your Skills and Experiences
Associate's degree or equivalent experience
6+ months experience in Air Logistics
1+ year of Customer Service Experience
US and World Geography knowledge

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
