About the Role:

As the Head of Hardware Engineering and System Architecture, you will be instrumental in driving the development of our next-generation products. You will lead a high-performing team through the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to mass production.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of related experience in developing medium to large scale hardware products with internet connectivity from concept to mass production with 5+ years in a leadership position
• Proven experience working with vendors and suppliers in Asia
• Experience managing and mentoring new managers
• Experience with RF and IoT products
• Deep knowledge and experience in system testing methodologies and best practices
• Great communication skills and attitude
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and align efforts across teams
• Prefer experience in these areas:
• Deep experience in mesh networking technologies
• Industrial sensor device technologies
• Embedded design experience
• Experience working with ODM and JDM suppliers

Responsibilities:

• Drive new product development from proof of concept through to release for mass manufacturing
• Hands-on management and coordination of electrical, mechanical, firmware, and testing engineering teams
• Lead definition and execution of the overall engineering product development strategy
• Provide hands-on technical expertise from concept development through to production sign-off
• Define group objectives and key results
• Maintain and develop capabilities by recruiting appropriate talent
• Lead the product engineering team in life cycle planning and problem management
• Participate in design reviews and publish documents to support evidence-based indicators of risk levels
• Own system architecture and new hardware technology roadmapping
• Be a champion of process and documentation
