AWS NAT Gateway is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our team and build products that help customers connect to the Internet. You will focus on the challenges of building resilient, scalable and high-performance systems that are used by a wide range of customers. The successful candidate will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, be very customer-centric, able to think big and collaborate with engineers and partners across the org to design, build, deploy, and operate wide scale systems. They thrive in a fast-paced team and have a proven track record of building projects utilizing efficient execution, high quality, rigorous testing, deep monitoring, and solid deployment practices. A high level of ownership and accountability is a must.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2. 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
3. Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
2. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
3. Cloud development experience
