Scada Engineer

Are you passionate about driving innovation and optimizing production processes? We're looking for a skilled Senior Systems Analyst (SCADA Engineer) to play a pivotal role in developing, enhancing, and supporting SCADA (Ignition) and MES (Sepasoft) applications for our Spartanburg NGDV assembly.

What You'll Do:

• Lead SCADA/MES development and configuration, ensuring smooth operation.
• Conduct operator training and provide hands-on production support to keep the system online.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement integration enhancements with PLCs, JDE, and other systems.
• Play a key role in establishing controls standards for NGDV, ensuring data security and integrity.
• Develop, modify, and enhance SCADA/MES systems, including Tag Database generation, report development, and computer setup.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a SCADA or MES engineer/developer.
• Expertise in Ignition and Sepasoft.
• Working knowledge of Rockwell PLCs or Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Jython, C, C+, C++, Visual Basic, SQL, etc.
• Familiarity with Windows Servers.

Standout Qualifications:

• Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC APIs, Web Services).
• Knowledge of OEE concepts, ERP systems, Track and Trace technologies, and Production scheduling.
• Familiarity with managing code repositories like GitHub.
