Oracle APEX Developer (Hybrid)
We have an immediate need for a contract Oracle APEX Developer to join an IT consulting & services firm. The Oracle APEX Developer will have experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle APEX applications.
Location: Chicago, Illinois. Hybrid working 3 days onsite per week.
This job expects to pay about $55 – 63 per hour plus benefits.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for designing, maintaining, and implementing new features into applications using a combination of APEX, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL.
- Responsible for the integration of third-party APEX Plugins and JavaScript libraries.
- Suggesting application design enhancements and new product features.
- Evaluate new technology options, recommending the adoption of new technologies into the solution.

- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong ability to gather and document technical requirements and workflow information.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to interface with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to understand, organize, and translate technical and business needs efficiently.
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and technologies.
- Oracle Database performance and tuning.
- APEX integrations and Plug-in development.
- Web application security / Data security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
