Senior DevOps Manager
Job Summary
Marathon TS is looking for a Senior DevOps Manager to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team that primarily serves as an Enabling Team as defined by SAFe.
Responsibilities
- Participation in Kanban team using the SAFe methodology
- Integrate the working software delivered by the Cloud Agile Development Teams into a single application software release
- Build the release
- Formally and independently test the release (functionally and non-functionally)
- Management and facilitation of the DevOps tools used by NCIC (e.g., ReadyAPI)
- Performance optimization, system troubleshooting, application and transaction optimization on preproduction and production environments
- Uses and works in team environments that use agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean)
- Authors developer-friendly documentation (e.g., API documentation, deployment operations)
- Use of version control systems
- Quickly researches and learns new programming tools and techniques
- Ensures Section 508 Compliance
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience are required.
- Has experience in a DevOps Environment managing releases in the CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting systems
- Experience with Technical Documentation
