Overview
BlueWater Federal is looking for a Mobile Developer to support FEMA.
100% remote
FEMA requires additional digital communication services to implement user-friendly and accessible updates to FEMA.gov and the FEMA App that improve the customer experience (CX) and ensure clear communication about agency initiatives being rolled out in 2024.
Responsibilities
- Provide development support for web systems to support updates to FEMA websites that improve the user experience at various points in the student/learner lifecycle, based on priorities set by FEMA web team. Development may include Drupal, IIS, ASP.NET C#, SQL.
- Leverage insights from UX/CX to scope various improvements to FEMA.gov and other FEMA websites, including but not limited to improvements related to front-end web design, new website features, website consolidation or connections between FEMA websites.
- Define development activities related to suggested improvements and work with FEMA web team and program office teams to prioritize which improvements to take action on.
Qualifications
- Must have or be eligible for a High-risk Public Trust; US Citizenship required.
- 4+ years of experience with Mobile App Development using Ionic Framework: HTML, Javascript, CSS Integration, Android Studio, Google Play Store management, Xcode, Apple App Store management, Ruby on Rails (RoR) Application Development.
- Should have built and maintained a RoR application that has been deployed to the public and maintained over a period of time.
- Should have understanding and experience developing 508 compliant applications.
