UX Designer

Description:

Hybrid role, must be local to Merrimack NH or Boston MA. Our industry-leading financial services client is looking for a User Experience Designer who is passionate about their craft and improving employee digital experiences.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Manage the definition of the design work and deliver business outcomes across multiple product teams, with some guidance and coaching.
• Have an opportunity to work with accomplished, experienced designers across the company and build your skills as you go.
• Partner with user research to understand the customer problems to tackle.
• Partner with the product owner to help advise product strategy.
• Work across the organization to drive consistent customer experiences.
• Provide design and product thought leadership.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of UX or related experience is preferred.
• A certificate/degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as interactive design, architecture, industrial design, graphic design, or human factors is preferred.
• Experience working on agile teams delivering value in digital products preferred.
