Civil Engineer

Civil Engineering professional with 4+ years of accomplishment in designing Civil projects. This individual assists Valdes Senior Civil engineers working with other Valdes' discipline engineers and client engineering representatives.
Responsibilities

• Display a general knowledge of the Civil Engineering discipline
• Provide generally accepted practices with project layout and design with minimal guidance by Senior Civil engineers.
• Engage in design production, as directed by Senior Engineers, and help produce complete, quality, and timely deliverables.
• Verify field conditions and assist the Senior Engineers in resolving problems during field construction
• May be required to participate in short, or long term, field assignments

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering
• 4+ years of experience working as a Civil Engineer
• Must hold Professional registrations (PE) or be able to obtain registration within one year of hire
• Strong Microsoft Office software skills
• Strong AutoCAD / Civil 3D software skills. MicroStation experience is a plus.
• Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
