OVERVIEW
The Senior Controls Engineer will provide technical leadership for electrical and controls systems for all areas of the Wellston plant. This position requires considerable interaction with project engineers, systems engineers, reliability engineers, plant floor personnel, leadership team, and external engineers and vendors.
The Wellston plant is the "Heart of Totino's", supporting this growing business within the Snacks Operating Unit. The plant has experienced significant investments over the past several years. The Senior Controls Engineer will join a team of talented technical and operations colleagues that will continue to support the growth of the business and plant.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Human and Food Safety
- Understand and provide expertise for human and food safety systems as they apply to control & electrical systems
- Lead or support plant electrical safety program and subject matter expert on electrical safety
- Ensure existing and new equipment and infrastructure meets applicable electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, etc.) and GMI Global CIS Standards
PRODUCTION SUPPORT
- Provide tactical and troubleshooting support to operations and maintenance in the area of controls and information systems
- Provide strategic support for engineering, operations, and maintenance to drive out losses in the manufacturing process by leveraging existing and emerging control system technology and methodologies
- Implement PLC and HMI hardware/software and manufacturing networks in accordance with GMI standards
- Apply Zero Loss Culture concepts in all areas of work
PROJECTS AND PLANT INITIATIVES
- Provide input into the plants capital plan and proactively manage obsolescence of controls systems
- Support plant capital projects as a controls and electrical systems lead. Manage electrical/controls related capital projects as necessary
- Manage external integrators as necessary
- Support plant Holistic Margin Management (HMM) and other initiatives as necessary
ENGAGING LEADER BEHAVIORS
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with engineers, operations and maintenance leadership, controls techs, floor personnel, and external engineers/vendors
- Provide technical coaching and development for controls team, Engineers, and other salaried and wage staff as necessary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent applicable experience or extensive relevant work experience
- 3 years related experience minimum
- Demonstrated understanding of technology, including complexities of products, equipment, and costs
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with the following
- Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Historian
- Allen Bradley Control Logix, Panelviews, and RSLinx
- Allen Bradley Servo Controllers
- Aerial, Remote IO, Ethernet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet communications
- Common field devices/instruments - VFD's, Load Cells, Control Valves, Level, Pressure, Temperature, Flow, and Position sensors
- Servers, Windows Operating Systems, Terminal Services

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $91900.00 - $138000.00 / Annually.
