Our Parsons San Diego office is now hiring for an Associate Civil Engineer to join our water practice in California. This is an entry-level role open to new or recent graduates from a Civil Engineering Degree program, with a focus in environmental, hydrology, and water systems engineering.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Under general supervision, perform various fundamental technical tasks in support of a project.
- Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
- Log (either manually or electronically), copy, and process and distribute various project and/or engineering documents such as RFI, Submittals, and Transmittals.
- Maintain established files for project document retention.
- Scan documents for electronic storage.
- Log (either manually or electronically) and route interdisciplinary checks and supplier data.
- Become familiar with the requisition process for assigned project, including preparation and approval.
- Prepare standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
- Assist in project closeout activities, as needed.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Contribute as a team player who is deadline-driven and works well with others.
What Qualifications You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $25.34 - $44.33.
