Title:                Industrial Electrician

Location:         San Jose, CA 95116

Duration:         0-12+ Months.

Shift:                Day Shift (M-F, 7:00am – 4:00pm)

Pay Rate:          $42.65/Hour on W2.

 

Day Shift: Alternating 48-hour (4-day) weeks and 36-hour (3-day) weeks with built-in OT (8 hours) and potential additional OT (cleanups, forced in inverse seniority).

 

For example, Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday; Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday; then alternating back

Description:

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components within an industrial setting.

Maintaining Equipment and Amplifying Your PLC Knowledge.

Troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and conduct on-the-spot machine repairs.

Utilize your knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to find innovative solutions and ensure clear documentation of processes.

Address production equipment failures by conducting root cause analysis using schematics and drawings.

Repair electrical and mechanical systems, including pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyors.

Seek ways to enhance plant efficiency and cost savings.

Maintain open communication with leads and supervisors to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

 

Qualification:

High School Diploma/GED or an associate degree and 2+ years of related experience in an industrial electrical field.

2-5 years of relevant experience

Experience with SCADA systems.

Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes.  

A strong technical foundation in both AC and DC circuits, familiarity with PLCs and SCADA systems, and proficiency in three-phase electrical systems and motor controls are essential.

The candidate should have excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes.

A comprehensive understanding of electrical safety standards and practices, along with experience using personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment, is essential.
