You will be involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. You will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. You will be involved in all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production execution. You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the suppliers’ technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule. You will drive Raytheon design requirements to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will initiate continuous and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability.What You Will Do:Communicate and translate the technical data package to suppliersLead and conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and riskPerform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysisLead evaluations of supplier requests for product and process changesManage product non-conformances; Drive root cause investigation and corrective actionPrioritize and execute improvement opportunitiesCommunicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholdersSupport travel as neededQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is requiredQualifications We Prefer:Experience with Manufacturing Engineering of electro-mechanical assemblies is strongly preferred.Experience with Engineering interpretation of technical documentationLean manufacturingExperience supporting business and functional deliverablesExperience performing supplier assessmentsExperience influencing internal and external stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated problem solving experience.Demonstrated leadership in leading cross-functional teams.Demonstrated planning and execution experience (be able to create a roadmap linking metrics to actions and generating execution plans).What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
