ON SITE REQUIRED: Right now, VSP team is generally working 4 days on site and 1 day off based on the Governor s directive. This is subject to change in either direction. This could also change based on the demands of the project, so it is possible that there will be weeks where they need to be on site (5 days) all week. If selected, they need to plan to be on site 4 days a week and be available to be on site as needed.
This position will be responsible for:
Working across the full stack, building, maintaining and optimizing scalable, distributed features and solutions that enable positive user experiences across desktop and mobile
Developing new features in support of business and project requirements
Managing vendor support as needed for maintenance and enhancement
Working with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
Required Skills:
considerable software implementation experience 5 Years
Proficiency in PHP 5 Years
Understanding of WordPress architecture 5 Years
Understanding of SQL 5 Years
Understanding of REST API 5 Years
Ability to work as team member on web development projects end toend 5 Years
Proven knowledge of back end infrastructure maintenance and optimization and UX UI principles 5 Years
UI principles 5 Years
Knowledge of front end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 5 Years
Knowledge of secure coding practices 5 Years
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor s degree in information sciences, computer science, or a related field;
Outstanding communication skills
