MachinistJob Description:CNC machinist must have excellent mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment, machine tools, and lathes, used for cutting, turning, and milling.Will work with CNC Turning, 3 axis, 4 axis, 5 axis set-up/operator for mill and lathe machines.In addition to having strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, must have good analytical skills and be able to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.Precision measurement tools such as Micrometer, Calipers, Indicator, gauges, Drop Indicators, Depth Micrometers.Must be familiar with in cycle probing, modern machining tools/techniques.Will be machining hardened steel components and aluminum, holding extremely tight tolerances.At least 4 years of experience doing set up/operating CNC mills or lathes is required.Reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.In cycle probing.Shift:First Shift7:00AM-3:30PMMonday-FridaySecond Shift4:00PM-12:30AMMonday-Friday10% shift differential for second shift10 Hour days for OvertimeBenefits:Competitive compensation and benefits package.Health, Dental, Vision, Life, ADD, LTD, STDPaid Time OffCompany Paid Holidays401(k) plan with company matchProfessional development programIndoor, temperature controlled manufacturing environmentPerformance Expectations:Expected to set up and operate their machines with little to no scrap.
